All of the girls in 5th and 6th class in St. Brigid’s are in the school choir. They practice every Thursday and have a vast and varied repertoire. The choir give recitals at Christmas and in June. Every second year they take part in the National Children’s Choir which comprises of 4,000 – 5, 000 children from all over Ireland learning the same repertoire of songs. The climax of this is their local concert in which they are accompanied by a full and professional orchestra and a representative group singing in the National Concert Hall.
Here is one of the carol's that the choir performed on December 17th 2009 in the school.
