Having lost out narrowly in the 2008 decider, the senior football team have qualified for the Division 1A final where they play neighbours Holly Park for the Corn Austin Finn. The final will take place in Croke Park on Wednesday December 1st @ 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are being made regarding transport to the game and will be sent home shortly.
The teams met in the league stage of the competition where Holly Park won by the narrowest of margins after a thrilling game. Undeterred by this loss, the team kept their focus for the rest of the campaign and deservedly qualified for the final.
