Parents’ Association

Parents’ Association

There is a very active and supportive Parents’ Association in the school. Every parent with a child in the school is automatically a member of the Parents’ Association. This association is unique as it is joined with St. Brigid’s Boys’ School on Mart Lane as many families have children in both schools and there are several joint events that happen during the year.

On a day-to-day basis, the P.A. are a committee who volunteer their time and skills to help out and support the schools, the children and their families. When the schools need help to run social and fundraising events, many parents give their time and effort to host these events. Parents also share their knowledge freely in areas of IT, building issues, etc. and in supporting the Garden Committee.

The school is indebted to the Parents’ Association for their commitment and hard work. The funds raised by the Parents’ Association are directly used in the school for the children’s learning and development.

If you wish to find out more please contact the office or the chairperson of the PA. The co-chairs are Zoë Johnson for the Girls’ School and Fiona Ashe for the Boys’ School.
