We had a great day on 23rd May. Whilst everyone back at school was enjoying a beautiful, sunny Sports’ Day, two wonderful girls from Ms. Pounch’s third class were at The Helix in Dublin City University at the Green School Awards. The adjudication date for our next green flag is drawing near and the green school committee is working very hard. The number of plastic bottles among pupils and staff has been reducing steadily. Thank you to Anna Theunissen for designing a lovely certificate to award to the classes with the least number of plastic bottles every month. Green School Flag

Thank you to all the girls and their parents for helping us to continue reducing the number of plastic bottles in our school. This initiative is part of our programme to help us achieve our next Green Flag. We survey every class on one day each week to see how many plastic bottles are being used in our school. More and more classes are returning a result of zero plastic bottles on the survey days.  We are learning why it …

School Orchestra Success

New Committee: At Halloween we said goodbye to our 2016-2017 Green School Committee. They were a super group. They carried out their green school duties with confidence and assurance and communicated our green school messages very effectively.
