We were delighted to host the Brendan Martin Cup on Friday. This cup is given to the winners of the Ladies All-Ireland Gaelic Football Final. This year, Dublin beat Kerry and all the girls were delighted to be able to celebrate this win at our own school.
This visit was made extra special as one of our former students and All Ireland champion, Jodi Egan, came with the cup. The hall was decorated in everything blue and navy and the girls all dressed in an assortment of jerseys and blues to welcome our VIP guests. After lots of cheering and celebrating, the girls asked very interesting questions and our GAA team then got to meet and get some useful tips for their future successes.
