September Update

Back to School

With the return to school, girls settled back into school life and reunited with their friends. Teachers and students got down to work getting to know one another.

Niall de Búrca Storyteller

We welcomed renowned Irish storyteller Niall de Búrca to our school. He entertained us all with his unique stories and his wonderful storytelling skills.

GAA Teams

Apple Picking

The 6th classes visited the garden at the start of the month to examine the changes over the summer months. Once down in the garden, they discovered that there were apples ready for picking. They collected the apples and then eventually came together to bake them into an apple crumble. A very delicious bit of gardening!

Gaeilge á Labhairt

This year, we are placing an extra emphasis on spoken Gaeilge. Each month, each class perfects certain phrases and learns some classic Gaeilge songs. At the end of each month, classes come together to practice the phrases they have learnt. We sing the songs together at assembly.

Friendly Friday

We believe in the power of kindness and friendship. Friendly Friday, marked the last Friday of each month, is a day dedicated to building connections, spreading positivity, and celebrating the friendships that make our school such a special place
