June Update

As we entered the final month of the school year, many usual school traditions were held and enjoyed by all. The brighter days and sunnier weather had us outside more and thinking of the sunny summer holidays around the corner.

Garden Day

One of our favourite days, Garden Day, was another success and enjoyed by all. You can read more about the day on this link:  https://www.stbrigidsgirlsschool.com/garden-day/

School Tours

Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day was a great success, full of energy, teamwork, and school spirit. Students from all classes took part in a range of events and showed fantastic enthusiasm throughout the 2 days.

It was wonderful to see so much encouragement, participation, and sportsmanship from everyone involved. Thank you to Mr. Spain for organising such a wonderful day!

Slán Ms. Burke & Ms. Walshe!

We bid a fond farewell to two stalwarts of St. Brigid’s, Ms. Burke and Ms. Walshe, who both retired in June. Their dedication, expertise, and bright smiles have left a lasting impact on our school community. They will be greatly missed, and we wish them every happiness in their retirement. We hope they will return to visit us often.

Blackberry Jam Making with Ms. Lynch

Ms. Lynch took the fourth classes to make blackberry jam from berries left-over in the freezer picked earlier in the school year. They learnt all about the jam-making process and enjoyed the results with some brown bread outside in the sun!

Slán 6th Class

We say a fond farewell to our wonderful Sixth Class pupils as they complete their journey at St. Brigid’s. They have grown into confident, capable, and caring young ladies who have made a lasting contribution to our school community.

This final term was filled with celebration, from their graduation preparations to school events and special moments shared together. A sincere thank you to Denise O’Beirne of Dizzyfeet for her support in choreographing the girls’ graduation dance.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success and happiness in the years ahead.

Go n-éirí an bóthar libh!

As the school year comes to a close, we would like to wish all our students, families, and staff a happy and restful summer. It has been a year full of learning, growth, and memorable moments, and we are proud of all that has been achieved. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break and returns refreshed and ready for another exciting year ahead!

We will see you all again on the 27th of August!
