New Year
As we step into a brand-new year, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to our students, parents, teachers, and staff. A new year is a fresh start and an opportunity to set new goals.
Ms. Kelly organised a whole school art piece for our hall. Each girl decorated a small square which came together to make a beautiful, large mural.
Lunar New Year
Many classes marked the Lunar New Year through art pieces and displays. Angela and Alice from Ms. Culloty’s 3rd Class made homemade sushi and dumplings for the class and also brought in fortune cookies and Chinese crackers.
5th Class Art
Ms. Murphy’s class created their own constructions in art while Mr. Spain’s class were inspired by Franz Marc.

Grandparents' Day in 5th Class
Ms. Gavin & Ms. McCarthy’s 5th Class invited their grandparents in to visit their class. They had a lovely afternoon showing their classroom to their grandparents. Their grandparents played games with them and shared memories of when they were in school.

4th class tested different materials to see which would clean an old copper coin the best. The answer was a surprising one – soy sauce!
