CyberSafeKids Internet Safety Talk The girls in 3rd-6th class had an informative safety talk from CyberSafeKids Ireland, where they learned valuable tips on how to stay safe online. The session covered key topics like protecting personal information, being respectful on social media, and recognising potential online dangers. Sensory Room Update

Since our Danceathon, we have been working to create our school’s Zen Den. The foundations have been set. While we wait for the room to arrive, the company providing the room has given us a temporary sensory zone. We can’t wait to show you the finished project!

Back to School With the return to school, girls settled back into school life and reunited with their friends. Garden Day

One of the most important days of our school’s calendar took place on the 6th of June. Garden Day is always a day we look forward to. In advance, everybody pulled together to prepare for the day. The Sixth classes researched and prepared their projects and helped in the garden. Our parent volunteers put in extra hours to help make sure the garden looked spectacular.  The school staff also all made sure the school looked its best for the day. …

Garden With the weather improving through the month of May, the girls were able to enjoy the school garden in the warmer weather. The 6th classes brought the Junior Infants down to the garden to show them what wonders are down there. Dance-a-thon

The school identified that a ‘Zen Zone’ is required for children to relax and regulate their sensory needs. To do this, the girls were asked to fundraise to provide this calm and safe space.  Teachers organised a dance-a-thon for Friday, the 3rd of May. The girls each received a sponsorship card and we were all overwhelmed at how much money was collected! The girls wowed us all by collecting an amazing €14,346! Creative Cluster Showcase

‘Creative Clusters’ is a Department of Education funded initiative which brings neighboring schools together to bolster creativity in students over two years.  We were delighted to be chosen and were joined with St. Joseph of Cluny & The Harold School. Niamh, our resident artist helped the girls in 6th classes to discover shadow puppets and how to make them. Once the wonderful puppets were made, the girls filmed a shadow puppet show. March & April Update

Snow! The month of March began with a surprise as a heavy fall of snow fell on the 1st day of the month. There was excitement in the air (along with some snowballs!) as we reveled in the unique sight.  Book Fair The annual Scholastoc Book Fair was held at the start of March. Girls excitedly bought books for themselves and were delighted with their choices. Older girls helped the younger children to read their books which everybody enjoyed. The …
